Starting with the prison break chapter, we began to airdrop ingredients for future craftables to characters wearing or possessing certain traits that were detailed in the lore. This was an interesting concept that would reward holders of a variety of characters and those who kept abreast of developments within the story. Ex. In Mission 1, our loveable Adanauts all got naked to conduct operations in furnace-like heat. In the story, vials were crafted and every Adanaut with a naked trait received an airdropped ingredient of the vial, which will be used for crafting serums.
There are 4 different borders that are associated with the ingredients. The meaning of the differentiations are still unknown to the public at this time and will remain so until the Formula Blueprints are created. (Copper, Iron, Golden, Otherside)
We added community voting in the discord for future aspects of what goes on in the storyline. Essentially, the community is participating in choosing the Adanauts' adventures. We are presently looking to expand this voting procedure to move away from being dependent on Discord, while gaining a better reach to everyone, who is eligible to participate.
By voting, the community may be tasked with selecting where the Adanauts go, character traits and necessities and other specifics to a potential upcoming mission. Those choices, relative to character preferences, may offer Adanauts equipped with certain traits a greater chance of being used in the story. This may also increase those characters' eligibility to receive certain ingredients that are necessary to compose serums and antidotes.
We realized that our story is a bit voluminous and that not everyone enjoys reading or has the time to read. We put a tremendous amount of effort into the story and wanted everyone to have it available through a means most suitable to their liking. To accommodate this, we have been creating an ongoing audible narration of the lore for our community's listening pleasure.
Being a project driven by the community, we conducted a narrator contest, where anyone could audition. Each participant read paragraphs from the lore and the team shortlisted finalists, who read the same segment from the Search and Seizure Chapter. The Genesis listened to the shortlisted submissions and decided who they wanted to narrate the lore. You can find parts of the audio version on our YouTube Channel below and in our Discord Channel, "Book on Tape". It is updated regularly as the narrator completes chapters and missions.
